Applications For The 2nd Annual Raju Patnam Computer Science Scholarship Are Now Open

Last year, I was fortunate to have a great job during the start of the pandemic and wanted to give back to computer science students at my alma mater (Wofford College). So, I created a scholarship application, posted it on Linkedin, had students apply, and got to chat with each applicant individually.

I enjoyed the experience and wanted to do it again this year, but more professionally and sustainably. So, long story short, I founded and currently am the president of a nonprofit called Beyond The Lecture. Our mission is to mentor, reward, and empower motivated computer science students at Wofford College and help them find career success in technology.

With that said, I'm happy to announce that applications for the 2nd Annual Raju Patnam Computer Science Scholarship are now open. I'll be donating at least $2,500 for this year's award, and my company should be matching that. The award will start at $3,500 and can increase based on the amount raised and the number of applicants.
